2 shipping labels and tags to choose from
Every label is printed to your size and artwork, and every order is priced by email before anything is made.
What is in this range?
Two products that finish an order. Address and shipping labels brand the outside of a parcel: your return address, a logo on a plain mailer, a seal across the flap. Hang tags are printed card tags with a hole for string, used on clothing, gifts, jars and bottles to carry a price, a size or a story.
Neither is stuck on the product itself in the usual way, which is why they sit together here.
Both are often forgotten until the first big week of orders, when a stack of plain boxes or a rail of unpriced clothes suddenly needs finishing. Ordering them alongside your product labels saves a second rush later.
Which one do I need?
| You want to | Choose | Typical size |
|---|---|---|
| Brand a plain mailer box | Address and shipping labels | 100 x 150 mm front plus a seal |
| Add a return address | Address and shipping labels | 50 x 25 mm |
| Seal a box or bag | Address and shipping labels | Long strip or 40 to 50 mm circle |
| Price a garment | Hang tags | 50 x 90 mm flat tag |
| Tell a product story | Hang tags | Folded tag with four panels |
| Finish a gift jar | Hang tags | 50 mm round tag on string |
Can a label replace printed packaging?
Often, yes. A plain kraft or white mailer with a good front label and a matching seal gives most of the look of a printed box, without committing to thousands of boxes in one design. When your branding changes, you change the label.
The same goes for clothing: a well-made hang tag turns a plain garment into a branded one, with no printing on the fabric at all.
It also suits sellers with many products in different box sizes. One label design works on every box, where printed boxes would need a separate run for each size.
What goes on a parcel, and what does not?
Carrier labels with tracking barcodes are created for each parcel when you book it, and you print those yourself on the day. We print everything around them: your logo, your return details, seals and handling notes.
Keep branded labels clear of where the carrier label goes, so nothing covers the barcode.
- Return address label with your logo
- Branded front label on a plain mailer
- Seal across the opening flap
- Handle-with-care or fragile label
- Thank-you sticker on the inside of the lid
How do I set up tags and parcel labels?
- List every label or tag you want on a typical order.
- Measure the mailer faces, flaps and the space on each product.
- Decide what you will write or print by hand, and leave blank panels for it.
- Send artwork for each piece, and say rolls, sheets or loose tags.
- Approve the free proof, and printing takes 3 to 5 working days.
Hang tags print on stiff card rather than label stock; our printed card hang tags page covers holes, folds and finishes.
Paper, film or card?
Parcel labels are usually paper: used once and mostly kept dry. Matt paper takes a pen and most office printers. White BOPP is worth it if parcels sit in the rain or travel in damp vans.
Hang tags are thick card in white, kraft or black, stiff enough to hang straight on a rail. Matt card takes a handwritten price; soft-touch and foil make a tag feel special.
If you use both, keep the colours consistent: a kraft tag with a kraft seal, or a black tag with a black and white box label, makes the whole order look planned.
How many should I order?
Count a typical month of orders and multiply by the labels and tags on each. Two or three months' worth is a sensible first order: enough to bring the price per label down, not so many that a change of branding leaves boxes of old labels.
Return address labels change rarely, so they are worth ordering in larger runs. Tags with prices printed on them change more often, so order those in shorter runs or leave the price to write by hand.

Do you print courier labels with tracking barcodes?
No. Your carrier creates those for each parcel. We print your branded parcel labels, seals and return labels.
Can I brand plain mailer boxes with labels?
Yes. A front label and a matching seal is the most popular way to do it.
Are hang tags printed on label stock?
No. Hang tags are printed on thick card with a hole for string.
Can I print addresses onto your labels myself?
Yes. Matt paper sheets suit most office printers; mention the model when you order and we will confirm the stock.
Which tag suits a jar in a gift hamper?
A round or small rectangular tag on string, tied round the neck of the jar.
Can I have tags and parcel labels on one order?
Yes. Each item is priced on the same quote and proofed together.
Do hang tags come with holes punched?
Yes. The hole is punched in the position shown on your proof.
What size should a box seal be?
Long enough to cross the flap with at least 15 mm either side, or a 40 to 50 mm circle.
Can parcel labels survive rain?
Paper can mark when wet. Choose white BOPP for parcels that may sit outside.
Are kraft tags available?
Yes. Kraft card tags suit food gifts, knitwear and natural-looking brands.
