Design Your Label
Drop your logo on a real photo of our circle stickers, move it and size it, and send it. A designer sets it up to scale and sends a free proof.

Your logo sits on a real photo of our label. A designer redraws it to scale on the artwork and sends a free proof before anything is printed.
Why are circle stickers so useful?
A circle sits neatly on almost anything. It crosses the fold of a paper bag, seals a tissue wrap, tops a jar lid, closes an envelope and finishes a gift box. It has no corners to catch and lift, so it stays down well even on curved or handled surfaces.
Circles are also quick to design. A logo in the middle, perhaps a line of text around the edge, and the sticker works across your whole range.
They are also the label people forget they need until they start packing orders. A bakery that hands over twenty paper bags an hour, or a gift shop wrapping parcels all afternoon, gets through circles quickly, so it pays to keep a roll at every packing point.
- Logo seals on paper bags at a bakery counter
- Tissue paper seals inside gift boxes
- Flavour colour dots on jar lids
- Thank-you stickers on online orders
- Price stickers on market stalls
- Envelope seals for invitations and cards
Which diameter should I choose?
Pick the size by where the sticker goes rather than by how big the logo is. A circle that is too small for a bag fold barely holds it shut; one that is too big for a lid hangs over the edge and catches on fingers.
| Diameter | Good for |
|---|---|
| 20 to 25 mm | Flavour dots, price stickers, small envelopes |
| 30 mm | Tissue seals, small bags, sample pots |
| 40 mm | Paper bags, boxes, envelopes |
| 50 mm | Jar lids on 63 mm lids, mailer box seals |
| 63 to 70 mm | Larger lids, cake boxes, statement seals |
For a seal, choose a size that crosses the join with at least 15 mm either side, so it holds the flap down.
Rolls or sheets for circles?
Rolls are the favourite for circle stickers, because a small dispenser makes sealing bags fast: peel, stick, move on. Most hand dispensers take 25 mm or 40 mm cores.
Sheets suit mixed designs, such as six flavour colours on one sheet, and makers who only use a handful a day. Our page on labels printed on flat sheets shows how many circles fit on an A4 sheet.
If you seal hundreds of bags a day, two dispensers at two packing points with a roll in each is quicker than one person passing a single roll around.
Plain or scalloped edge?
A plain circle is clean and modern. A scalloped edge, with small curves all the way round, looks more traditional and suits bakeries, sweet shops and gift brands. Both cut cleanly and peel easily.
Serrated edges, like a classic seal, are another option and look particularly good with gold foil.
Scalloped edges make the cut line part of the design, so they need a slightly wider margin inside the edge for text. We show the scallops on the proof so you can check nothing is trimmed.
Which material suits a sealing sticker?
For bags and boxes that stay dry, paper is fine and keeps the cost down. Gloss paper gives bright colour; matt paper takes a pen. Kraft paper suits brown bags and boxes.
If the sticker goes on something that may get wet or chilled, such as a lid in a fridge, choose white or clear BOPP. Clear film lets the colour of the bag or lid show through around your logo.
Kraft circles on brown bags give a tidy, matching look and take a stamp or a pen if you want to add a flavour by hand.
How to design a circle sticker that reads
- Keep the logo in the middle and leave a margin of 2 to 3 mm inside the edge.
- Use bold text if it runs round the edge, as curved text gets small quickly.
- Avoid putting fine detail right at the edge, where the cut may trim it.
- Use strong contrast between the text and the background.
- Check the proof at real size: print it on paper and cut it out if you are unsure.
Text that runs round the edge of a circle reads best at the top, running clockwise. At the bottom it reads upside down unless it is set to run the other way, which we can do on the proof.
Gold, silver and special finishes
Circle stickers are where foil earns its keep. A gold logo on a white or kraft seal makes a simple brown bag look like a gift. Silver film gives a metallic finish across the whole sticker. Soft-touch matt adds a velvet feel to seals for luxury packaging.
Foil works best on bold logos and text of about 7 pt or larger.
Silver and gold seals also suit wedding stationery and invitations, where a single sticker closes an envelope and sets the tone before the card is even opened.
How much do circle stickers cost?
Circles are among the most economical stickers we print. Prices start from £0.05 a sticker, and small circles on a long run cost less still per sticker, with the stock, any finish and the order size deciding the rest.

From approval to your door
We print in 3 to 5 working days after you approve the proof, wind rolls to your dispenser or pack sheets flat, and send them by free tracked delivery to UK mainland addresses in 2 to 3 working days.
Misprinted or damaged stickers reported within 10 days are reprinted or refunded.
Can I reorder the same circles quickly?
Yes. We keep your approved artwork, so a repeat order needs only the quantity and the size. If you change the design, we send a new proof first.
Many customers keep one roll in use and one in reserve, and reorder when they open the reserve. That leaves plenty of time for a quote, printing and delivery.
If you use several sizes, note the diameter on your reorder. It is the most common detail people forget, and it saves a round of emails.
Circle Stickers questions
More answers in Help, or call +44 7578 382054 or message us on WhatsApp.
What size circle sticker seals a paper bag?
Usually 40 mm, crossing the fold with at least 15 mm on each side.
Can I get circle stickers with a scalloped edge?
Yes. Scalloped and serrated edges are both cut cleanly on any stock.
Which diameter fits a 63 mm jar lid?
A 50 mm circle leaves a neat border on a 63 mm lid.
Are circle stickers available on rolls for a dispenser?
Yes. Tell us the core size and we wind the rolls to fit.
Can circle stickers have gold foil?
Yes. Gold foil on a white or kraft circle is one of our most popular seals.
How small can a circle sticker be?
About 20 mm. Below that, text becomes very hard to read.
Can I order circles in several colours at once?
Yes. Each colour or design goes on the same quote and proof.
Will circle stickers stick to tissue paper?
Yes. Press gently and do not reposition, as tissue tears easily.
Are clear circle stickers available?
Yes, on clear BOPP. White ink behind the design keeps colours bright.
Can I write on circle stickers?
On matt paper, yes. Gloss is harder to write on.
Do circle stickers work as thank-you seals in orders?
Yes. A logo circle on the tissue or the box is a simple finishing touch.
How many circle stickers fit on a roll?
It depends on the diameter and the roll size. We set it on your quote.
